Historic Fairmount Blvd is in our backyard, I had to snap photographs of a few homes that line the street. A section of the Blvd is on the national registration of historical places. A neighborhood of Cleveland's elite, the homes talk of a prosperous past gone by. Cleveland Heights' first residents were some of the area's most influential, including John D. Rockefeller. His estate was destroyed by fire. Cleveland has seen the best of times and worst of times. The industrial revolution has left its rusty footprint. The blue collar, the white collar, the scholar and the farmer are within miles of each other. It is so diverse. I am learning, observing and enjoying.

I used to drive by these homes every day on my way to work. They're beautiful!
Stunning! Sounds like you are really enjoying yourself! I would love that scenery!
Okay, so we are totally going to come & stay with you guys! How fun would it be to take an afternoon stroll down that street?!! Let me know when Trent has a break from school next year, & I will seriously get the airline tickets booked!!!

Laura,
Did you show us those beautiful houses when we were in Cleveland? We saw so many fun things, I can't remember.
Thanks for sharing them.
