Hi 5! for Cole
Cole is our All-Star Super Hero for sure, we love him So much! We celebrated over heaps of gifts from the grandparents and cousins then hit the bowling alley for lunch & a game. That evening we huddled around the super kid birthday cake, enjoyed Cole's fave Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream then teamed up for night of Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. Thank you family for the packages of love & fun!

This Super hero has always enjoyed the dramatic role of protector. He does not "dress up" as much as he used to. Trent is happy about that, I miss it. His interests are changing, yet the protector remains. I found (what we call) a "Ninja school". I signed him up after reading the Grand Master's philosophy on developing the "whole child." The curriculum for white belt is to learn good focus & discipline (willpower),Bow - to show respect and humbleness, and Self-Control. Plus learn Stance, Footwork, combat techniques & self-defense. Anyone who knows Cole will get a kick out of this,no pun intended.

Our Thanksgiving tradition continued for the 3rd year - we traveled over the river and through the woods to Hocking Hills, Ohio. We spent the holiday weekend with the Pearson Family in a beautiful cabin in the hills. Krista and I cooked our hearts out while the men watched football, ate hordeauvs & maned the kids. The food was delicious, Krista has a family recipe for stuffing that is deliciously wonderful. We enjoyed spending the holidays with friends and surrounded by nature's beautiful wonders.

We concluded the beautiful 60 degree Thanksgiving weekend cutting down our 2010 Christmas Tree. The tree farm experience was our first, it was incredible! The Christmas Tree farm was incredible, nostalgic, charming. A warm crackling fire, wreath's hung, hot chocolate, a donkey (he bites, just for looks) and 11 acres of trees to select from. Did I mention it was 60 degrees?! Incredible, magical experience - one I will never forget. Watching the boys run and play in the rows of pine warmed my heart. That warmth is so precious, I give thanks for the love that surrounds me. I am a reverent, grateful, thankful heart.

Cole will be awesome in his new class! I know 3 blackbelt+ guys and they are all genuinly nice, humble, stand up guys, they are also all very funny, but I'm not sure that's related, they are also all blond, but I am really sure that's not related.
