Ha ha ha ha - OK I can't stop laughing. I just returned from a haircut appointment, I went to the appointment knowing exactly what celebrity I was going to drive home as. The beautician asked me what hair style/cut I desired. I replied, the new Katie Holmes hair-do. A sophisticated bob, cropped at the chin, movement & texture - perfect for a mom on-the-go. (Katie and I for sure have the same kind of schedule, she is on Broadway... I have the grocery store and the library) Well a few snips later and a spin around in the salon chair - I left the salon with a bob, and I did leave looking like a celebrity - however it was not the Katie Holmes haircut... it is the Maria Von Trapp!!! Ha ha ha ha. I just can not stop laughing and I hope I can laugh all night because laughing is better than crying. (Heidi, where are you when I need you? HELP! )

Well bad haircut or not I don't think it would ever be possible for you to look anything but GORGEOUS! I have had MANY bad haircuts in my life so I feel for you, there is nothing worse!
I'm so sorry! I'm sure you look great, as always, but I've had similar experiences and I feel your pain! The question is... did you complain, or did you force a smile and say, I'm sure I'll like it when I get used to it, and then give your precious money to the person who did not do what you asked? (I wish I could be confrontational, but I end up doing the latter.)

Laura--you are hilarious! The good thing is you sing like Maria Von Trapp so sporting the "do" just goes along with the talent. I do want to see a picture as well so please post one when you can. I miss you. It was good to talk to you yesterday.

Well, actually, i really like your haircut!!!! I meant to tell you on Sunday! I mean to say a lot of things to people, but i get distracted so easy, so here is my chance! I love your haircut and i definitely think it is more like Katie's hair than he Vontrap lady!

Hmmm...I took a picture of Katie Holmes in as well and while mine doesn't look like Maria it is a little scary. By the way--not a stalker. Google reader recommended your blog--I guess because I have a number of "family" blogs in my reader.
