Thank you Mom for showing me the ropes on Fall bulb planting. Mom helped me plant more than 40 tulip plants while visiting in October. I was really unsure what the result would be considering my inexperience and hungry Ohio squirrels and other wildlife digging up most of my bulbs for winter food. Yet, spring has brought me such a nice surprise! Blossoms popping right before my eyes, not 40 tulips, a much smaller 19 tulips yet just as special and exciting.

I love them. I think that tulips are my favorite, partly because they are the first thing we see as spring rolls around. I am impressed with your "green thumb". I am still working on mine!
Wow, I am glad something came up, Laura. They really do put a smile on your face. After a long cold winter, we need a little color in our lives!

Congratulations! You are so funny about your little green thumb. See, it can be fun, can't it? Congrats on your 19 bulbs. In my 6 years of gardening, I have learned that most of it is trial and error. :)
